Jay Craig is an apprentice auctioneer that just graduated from Kentucky Auction Academy and is a member of the Kentucky Auctioneer Association. Jay is eager to learn and start his new career. He has always loved going to auctions and has always dreamed of becoming an auctioneer. Jay was born and raised on a farm in Albany, Kentucky and spends a lot of his spare time in the woods hunting. He is extremely outgoing and enjoys helping the people in his community. Jay loves living in a small town where everyone feels like family. He and his wife, Jennifer are Christians and are immensely proud to be raising their six daughters Taylor, Chloe, Addie, Carly, Jayleigh, and Jenna in such a great community.

Hunter Shearer Principal Auctioneer/Principal Broker/Owner

Hunter Shearer is a seasoned broker and auctioneer licensed in both Kentucky and Tennessee with 20 years experience in the real estate business. He has served as an agent, as well as the principal auctioneer for United Country Lakes and Land Realty/Auction. 2021 presented Hunter with a new opportunity and he is now the principal broker/owner of United Country Lakes and Land Realty/Auction in Albany, KY. In October of 2022 Hunter opened the doors to a second office located in Burkesville, Kentucky. 

Hunter has lived his entire life in Albany and enjoys the opportunity to show people why this area is so special. Although he calls Clinton County home he has also spent a great deal of his time in Cumberland County with his late father, who was a prominent family business owner of a jewelry store for over 25 years. Hunter is a Christian man raising his family in this small town with his wife, Shannon. They have two daughters, Piper and Southern, and a son, Wilder. Hunter is an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting in the area and spending time on Lake Cumberland and Dale Hollow Lake.

Hunter became an entrepreneur at the age of 13 trading, buying, and selling with people of all walks of life at the World’s Longest Yard Sale, the 127 Yard Sale. Business and people have always been Hunter’s passion and along with being a licensed real estate agent, auctioneer, and broker, he also owns a lawn service, concrete curbing business, and local BBQ restaurant and catering business. Hunter is a specialist in hunting tracts, farms, and lake properties.

In 2020 Hunter became a Realtree Land Pro member to better assist his clients in making informed decisions when buying or selling a hunting property.
